WHAT?!?! How did I not know that? Please remind me in a year - I’m bound to forget.

Haha. Been there, done that.

I’ll check this out. At work I can’t use gt because our version of R is too old 😭. Gonna do more investigating. Thank you!

That’s from last year, but a great reminder that we should do another one! @amelia.mn @canoodleson.bsky.social @lindseydietz13.bsky.social … right?

Thank you so much for this! I’ve been using these methods at work and have been searching for something to confirm that I’ve been doing it appropriately. Your example was so fitting! And I love that it’s short and to the point.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve searched for a flowchart package in R. The ones I’ve tried so far have been clunky. Not sure when I’ll get around to trying this since we’re on an ancient version of R at work, but keeping on my list!

In addition to also being an R lover, it looks like our dogs might be long lost siblings.

Yes! I think about this a lot as an open source user at a large company. I love seeing how the Pharmaverse has come together to contribute open source tools. How could other industries do the same.

Amazing and congrats! When I was teaching, I loved having my students plot my cycling data. It’s a fun one to use gganimate, too 😀. Happy swim, bike, run!

Aww! Thank you! Glad I didn’t give you a heart attack 😂

I also like your graph but I was distracted by your name 😂

Essentially my work is telling me that they need to use the binary files instead of the source files. And that this means all our computers would need a c compiler.

I don’t think tidyverse will be the only package you miss. Base R is great to get you started but not lasts so long. I stole this analogous from someone else, “It’s like a smart phone with only the default apps.”” Technically functions but less than satisfying.

Yay!!! You are here 😀
