I went to see Run in theaters yesterday. Making movies is hard. Real hard. This is the kind of movie that I would love to see on like the SyFy channel. It is campy horror sci-fi fun. I can't even begin to explain how or why it's so silly. Just, please believe me.

Like I said, though, it's gorgeous. The theme of helping Spirits cross the bridge to what's next really tugs at me. I -adored- Spiritfarer. I'll probably try for another couple days and either succeed or move on.

I don't have the time or patience to fight a single enemy for 45 minutes every day. I do enjoy the rush of beating the boss, etc. It just doesn't call to me as an enjoyable experience. Not when my time is already limited AND there's dozens of other games to experience.

Kena: Bridge Of Spirits is a souls like. Which i didn't realize until I was on the third main boss. It's a gorgeous game. Cute. Fun. However, I have an aversion to souls like games. I'm going to try to turn down the difficulty or maybe try to power through. Not sure.

I'm still pretty burned out on Assassin's Creed after Valhalla but with Mirage joining Gamepass I decided to pick it up. It is very much as I remember every game in the series with the exception being the controls are so smooth now. Im taking my time. No hurry.

I've been playing loads of Grounded 2 and i finished the story over the weekend. It is a blast. They've had some QoL improvements to make things easier to build, added rideable insects, and crafted a fun story.
I enjoyed the heck out of the first one and this has been a great continuation.

One of the characters you meet is Crouton. A stuffy that Hazel recognizes from her childhood. One of my favorite parts because they're adorable and get to travel close to the swamp animals to solve puzzles. They're also a combat skill that helps with some of the more difficult fights.

Over the rest of the game you learn that Hazel has powers that make her a Weaver. Someone that can mend broken bones and hearts. To make your way through the flooded areas you help folklore people and creatures. The stories are heartbreaking.

The voice acting is top notch, too. Each and every accent plays well for every character. I really enjoyed listening to Catfish and Hazel converse. Roux was great too. Even Bunny Flood was well done even though I didn't like the character. Give these VA all the awards!

The animation throughout the game is done in a stop motion style. As if the game weren't animated but instead we're created in clay. It adds a huge amount of charm and makes each interaction so interesting.
