European two-pin plug are much more functional, especially for those with any kind of vision impairment, AU/NZ three pin "grip" the socket better than the UK design. Does that help?

interesting perspective and bizarrely and unnecessarily insulting. Not all solutions are about engineering... functionality, usability and aesthetics also need to be taken into account

Maybe the engineers need to think of the actual users, then they might realise how hopeless the UK plugs are
