Draft 3 is DONE!! 🎉🎶📚

First had the issue of not adding enough description, and now I'm fighting to keep my WIP under 100K words. The struggle is real 😅

Pros of giving your book's main character the same chronic illness as you: Yay representation! An honest depiction based on personal experience! Woot!
Cons: Reliving medical trauma 😬

About 2/3 of the way to finishing my third draft of my contemporary fantasy novel, and it's finally resembling an actual book. 😅 The finish line is in sight!!

I could never be a smut writer because this was me just writing the leadup to a spicy scene that happens off-page 😅

I will never cease to be amazed by books. Seriously. Just think about it; thousands of people read the same book, but in everyone’s brain’s the characters look different, the setting changes etc. We are all reading the same thing, but it's so unique to each of us.
That is a beautiful thing.

Rewarding myself for getting halfway through draft 3 of my WIP by making a playlist for if it ever gets turned into a movie. Gotta dream big ✨️
