Yesterday we posted about the Trump administration shutting down the LGBTQ+ youth crisis line, the “press 3” option on 988 is officially gone. The Trevor Project is stepping up to help fill the gap, and they could really use some support right now. If you’re able, please consider donating! 🏳️‍🌈 💛

Our rigged system in a nutshell.

When the rich become richer, they can use their vast wealth to pour money into our democracy and rig the system to enrich themselves even more.

We must get Big Money out of politics.

Federal officials said Harvard must enact “merit-based reform” in hiring and admissions, among other things. Harvard called the demands unlawful.

If DOGE actually wanted to cut waste, it would end the massive tax loopholes, contracts, and subsidies that benefit the wealthy and large corporations.

They claim they can snatch people up, put them on planes, and deport them to a country run by an authoritarian, where those people will be forced to work slave labor at an inhumane prison. All without due process, and in defiance of federal courts.

The hypotheticals are over. This is the nightmare.

Schumer’s failure to lead in this critical moment was a betrayal of the Democratic Party, its voters, and our democracy. We need a Senate Minority Leader who will actually fight back against Trump, not fold to him. The stakes are too high for failed leadership. Make sure your senators hear from you.

This administration illegally denied hundreds of people due process, then deported them to a country they’ve never known, run by an authoritarian infamous for cruel treatment of prisoners.

They then deceived a federal judge to buy time for the planes to land so he couldn’t do anything about it.
A timeline of how the Trump administration raced to use the Alien Enemies Act yesterday, delivering 250 Venezuelan people to El Salvador's brutal prison system without any chance to defend themselves, just before a judge could stop the planes.

Breast cancer can be hidden in mammograms for many women, so doctors recommend additional screenings.

While one mammogram per year is typically covered by private health insurance plans, they don’t generally reimburse fully for additional screenings, creating out of pocket costs for most women.
They were told to get extra breast cancer screenings. Then they got stuck with the bill.
The FDA began requiring mammogram providers to notify women with dense breast tissue that they could need further screenings to rule out cancer. But such screenings cost money, out of pocket, for most women.

There is no "center" between decency and indecency, between democracy and authoritarianism, between a government of billionaires and a government of the people.

If Democrats move to "the center", they will pave the way for the next Trump.
The Failures of “Centrism”
By moving to the so-called “center,” Democrats have failed to fight the forces that led us to Donald Trump: widening inequality, economic insecurity, and the unchecked political power of corporations and the rich. Watch.
