It's hard to believe it's been three years since I first published The Escapers. Since then, I've finished the series and started a new one. I'm happy that readers are still enjoying Bryce's story.

You can read the entire Alien Harvester series on Kindle Unlimited!

The Escapers, the first book in the series, just got its 50th review. I know this is a small number to many authors, but when I published it three years ago, I knew nothing (I still don’t know much). I’m glad a few people enjoyed the book.

While I wait for feedback from an editor, I’m working on book two in the series. Working with established characters and settings makes writing so much easier. World building is tough

Is it overly optimistic to drafting book two in a series before I’ve started querying book one?

How long should chapters be in a novel? For
My first series, I averaged 2500-3000 words. I’m thinking of going to shorter chapters for my current WIP. I feel like people’s attention spans are getting shorter, mine included.

Life is too short to finish a book you’re not into. And just because you’re not into it, doesn’t mean it’s a bad book. #books

I sat down to do some editing on my WIP, and Microsoft decided to install a big update. One hour later, and my morning writing time was blowing in the wind. I think I need a new laptop.
