New research: Summer employment programmes for young people reduced violence by 36%.

There are only a few studies on the impact of summer jobs, but we summarise their effects in the YEF Toolkit.

What is more energising than a room full of women (and some men) marking 16 days of activism against gender-based violence?!

Jess Phillips, MP, & Rt Hon Anneliese Dodds MP, reminded us that it IS possible to halve #VAWG.

I am a teeny tiny cog in a complex system, but I am hopeful.

I wrote a blog in recognition of the international day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women and Girls (#VAWG).

I am both angry about the scale of violence against girls, & hopeful about the potential for interventions to reduce it.

Custody aftercare and resettlement programmes on average have a moderate impact on reducing #violence, reducing convictions by 14%.
However, evidence is mixed and 6 studies show an increase in custody rates. Quality implementation is important (as always).
