Have we considered the possibility that in fact pigeons _cause_ Earth’s magnetic field, and that the moving of magnetic north is due to shifting migration patterns 🤔

Maybe “successful” rather than “good”

But maybe I’m overthinking this, “more local say in local affairs” seems to be a good multi-purpose talking point

I’m asking about words because at some point there’s going to have to be a lot of advocacy and a rallying cry, and I feel like (a) “restructure municipal governance” isn’t going to do it, and (b) I’m not sure boroughs have positive connotations in Canada (might be wrong)

Any suggestions for good words for “undo the amalgamation into one single homogeneous municipal entity” that could include end states like boroughs? Decentralize? Devolve?

De-amalgamation is only the start, but it would give the opportunity to reboot things and move towards a municipal governance structure that could handle being a charter city.

Or a hotel room with a kitchenette that I stock up with some cereal and fruit and yogurt and real cream for some coffee and just a quiet breakfast ritual before running the gauntlet of the day.

For me it’s either a hotel like 15 minute walk from the meetings, and lining up a local café close to the hotel to pick up a coffee and pastry to nibble on the way..

I know a lot of people for whom this is room service breakfast, like scrambled eggs in particular - something about the solitude plus the treat of it all.
