Started HRT and socially transitioned at 54.
Had vaginoplasty at 56.
About to turn 57.

I’m all for him resigning. I just don’t think he’s going to.

The old guard isn’t going to willingly give up their power. It’s up to all of us (voters) to take it away from them.

It’s not safe to wake up in the morning, but safety is relative.

I will say that when “my egg cracked” at 52 YOA it did temporarily feel like I had another personality struggling to surface, but I’d been playing that role of “him” for almost 50 years. It was just ingrained, but also guarded and “stiff”.

That’s an interesting self-view. I’ve come to think of myself (after a lot of therapy and self-reflection) as having always been who I present as now, and was forced by circumstances (family and society) to play the role of someone else, i.e. “him”.

In my own experience, both my wife and my adult children report that they view me as two entirely different people, pre- and post- transition despite having witnessed my transition. This can create some challenges when attempting to maintain relationships. Have you experienced anything like this?

The caterpillar transforms into the butterfly through metamorphosis, but is often perceived as two entirely different beings, caterpillar 🐛 and butterfly 🦋. ⬇️

I think our cat would pull the plug on me just so she could have my wife all to herself.
