Fantastic series! Couldn’t recommend it more for anyone who hasn’t read it!

Reading this while I crunch on white cheddar cheez-its just added extra dopamine to my crunching.

Except semicolons. Which is annoying in very specific contexts.

Yes to all. Safety pins are some of the most used in my little emergency kit!

I still do this as an adult. I only remember the full-size candy bars exist when my mom comes to visit and I hide them away since they’re most certainly from her like 3 Christmas’s ago and I don’t want to seem ungrateful!

Genuinely curious - what’s wrong with the word stupid? I always thought that was a safe one. For context, and a real example I said today “oh I don’t think [new co-worker] is as mean/malicious as we thought! I think she’s actually just stupid. Like, genuinely stupid. She’s not doing it on purpose.”

100%. I have worn knit Marvin the Martian and R2D2 hats as part of Halloween costumes in the past. Phenomenal for years Halloween is extra cold!

I would pay for this

My mom sent my brother tons of snacks and candy in college. She did the same my first year, but found a huge leftover stash while moving me out. After that, she sent me boxes of seasonal holiday decorations instead. Random CVS-type stuff, but me & my roommates loved it! And I still use some of them.

My family used to make fun of me so hard for asking for things basic things like shampoo, sunscreen, scotch tape, etc. for Christmas. But the real gift was saving money on essentials meant I could buy more concert tickets as bands announced all their summer tours!

We do this for my mom! Since she’s impossible to buy presents for! It was a glittery Diet Coke can one year. I might have to find this cheez-it, or maybe a goldfish cracker for this year.

My husband and I started dating in college, while still on dining hall meal plans. For special occasions we ordered pizza and ate it out of the box sitting on the floor of my dorm room. 12 years later, we still celebrate every Valentine’s Day and anniversary with “floor pizza”.

I feel that! I love festivals, but they’re such a commitment. Sometimes I just wanna see a single artist absolutely kill it for a solid 1.5-2.5 hr set and then go home! I’ll def go see him when he tours again. But I’m already dreading how expensive those tickets are gonna be now that he’s blown up.

Music festivals are where he thrives right now. His fan base has grown to where he’d have to tour larger venues, but he doesn’t have quite enough material to fill a full headlining set without playing like every song in his discography. Which he did on the last tour. Needs a new album first.

Ahahahha. Just say ‘King Gizz’ around the normies. Much easier than the look your boss will give you when you tell them you have to leave on time tonight for a show, and they make the mistake of asking who you’re seeing

WAIT WHAT?! I have been telling my husband someone should invent Shazam for birds for years. It exists?!
July 1, 2025 at 3:01 PM
Oh good. I need new people to do exactly that with. Who are your favorites?

I’m 5’0”. Maybe it’s just a me issue then!

Me! I’m really short, and I can’t pull a booth closer to the table when inevitably the table is too high compared to the height of the seat, or it’s too far away to eat comfortably!

My nephew is 6 and to this day Blaze is the most universally-loved show he’s ever been into according to every member of the family. We’re all bummed his interest in it has started to fade. But mostly cause he’s seen them all a bazillion times!

I love that even the animals have wheels. That’s true commitment to the bit!
