I went litter picking this morning. About a 400m length of verge, which is by a stream and home to lots of wildlife 🐜🐝🐞 Got huge bag of litter 💔 and found £5. What does that say about us, that we chuck litter and don't even bother to pick up cash 🤷

Finally finished this excellent book by Ed Conway. Learned a lot. We take the world's resources for granted - it's good to be reminded what our lives depend on. Highly recommended 👌
