My mom had a major stroke and has been in the hospital for almost 30 days. I am barely holding it together. I’ve been very strong but it feels like my whole body is a pressure cooker that has been left completely unattended. No one seems to notice and if they do they don’t seem to understand.

I’m in the middle of a lot of life changing personal work and it’s terrifying and exhilarating.

The only grandfather I ever knew passed away this week. 7 days of hell. Drove 450 miles in 24 hours to say goodbye. Wish I could articulate the larger than life man he was to me, my siblings, and our cousins but there are countless tales from countless people that could paint a picture.

This girl would not believe the hell she would grow up to see.
