I just spent two hours going through 16 notebooks of writing to look for one Megalith scene I remembered writing a year ago. I was about to give up then I found it in the final pages of the final notebook. Good story huh? Well, at least you get to enjoy a taste of how boring that task was. Chaos:

Look at Birmingham today - I mean this is just nuts isn’t it. Has there been a procession like this for other celebs to this scale? I know Jimmy Savile had that procession in Leeds but people correctly try to forget about that, obviously.

Always kinda feel like I need to preface talk of Birmingham with explanation - I’m from working class Brum but I moved to Berlin over 10 years ago on a whim + for various reasons now I’m stuck here. I love Berlin but it’s still confusing to me on a daily basis that I’m living in another country 🙃

Always kinda feel like I need to preface talk of Birmingham with explanation - I’m from working class Brum but I moved to Berlin over 10 years ago on a whim + for various reasons now I’m stuck here. I love Berlin but it’s still confusing to me on a daily basis that I’m living in another country 🙃
I don’t often miss my hometown, but when I see surreal happenings like this it feels strange not to be there. Then… on my daily walk today, I spotted this and it made me feel a bit less homesick.

People of Birmingham now go into a mandatory period of mourning RIP OZZY - I knew someone who knew the guy who tattooed Ozzy’s knees. Almost every Brummie is soul connected to the roots of metal, whether they like it or not. 🖤
