Every lesson with my pupils is a joy. I have just finished a lesson with an adult pupil who is learning to navigate the 4 against 3 poly rhythms in Evening on the River Nile from the Trinity grade 6 syllabus. She has some great strategies for learning it and is off to practise.

All this bad weather has caused my beautiful Bechstein to go out of tune which is making teaching and practise a painful experience. Roll on Saturday when Aidan Simms from The Piano Workshop will be here to tune the piano so we can make beautiful music again.
