Thanks to my SIL and certain other influences, I picked up cross stitching and have completed my second piece. Granted, I'm doing VERY simple pieces, but I also never thought I could grasp the concept of counted cross stitch. Yet here I am!

Here's one of my (not by choice) squirrels, dramatically upset that I stopped filling the "squirrel-proof" bird feeder.
(He's actually just splooting because it's hot out, but I imagine he's pouting, too.)

Texas sage is one of my favorites. The purple against those gray-green leaves is such a gorgeous combination.

Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to watch the "Alice" miniseries somewhere online? I've been wanting to rewatch it for years, but I can't find it anywhere! YouTube has like one playlist of episodes, but they're all in 240, which is almost unwatchable.
