Remember, it's still the "Gulf of Mexico," no matter what he says.
There's a Trump tweet for absolutely everything, including a US attack on Iran. But guess who he predicted would do it ...

"The ideal subject of totalitarian rule is not the convinced Nazi or the convinced Communist, but people for whom the distinction between fact and fiction (i.e., the reality of experience) and the distinction between true and false (i.e., the standards of thought) no longer exist."
- Hannah Arendt

Speak out. Contact your Senators. Tell them not to pass this provision of the budget bill.

The House GOP sneaked in Section 70302, which would, in effect, hollow out the ability of federal judges to enforce court orders.

This would be dangerous to our system, further undermining the rule of law.

Let's hope Nancy Pelosi is right about 2026. It's going to take a lot of hard work on our part. Sign me up! Let's turn Congress blue. 🌊

This discussion of "state capture" and "kleptocracy" seemed especially relevant today after the passage of the "One Big, Beautiful Bill," benefitting not only the millionaires & billionaires who are outside of govt but those who are at the very center of our govt.

I'm sorry, but there's no way this new Oval Office look is the work of a professional interior designer. This is all Trump.

This is so ridiculous, I at first thought it was a spoof. But no, unfortunately, it is all too real.

This is incorrect. Please don't do this. It will cause you problems both in school and in business.

Thank you, Admiral Lisa Franchetti, for your decades of selfless service in the US Navy. You deserve better than you got from this administration.

To ABC, the law firm of Paul, Weiss, Columbia University, and others who have capitulated or are thinking about capitulating to Trump:

Were you never bullied in school? Do you not know that once you give in, the bully will keep coming back until you stop him?

ABC, stand up and fight!

Trump has been saying all along that CHINA pays the tariffs. How then would WALMART be in the position of having to "eat the tariffs"? Trump is finally admitting what we've known all along--that American businesses and, consequently, consumers are the ones who actually pay his destructive tariffs.

I'm not one to defend James Comey. (After all, he's in many ways responsible for unleashing Trump 1.0 on the country.) But this "8647" issue is ludicrous. It's just a way to whip up the MAGA base and to feed the Trump martyrdom complex. "86" isn't even as remotely threatening as they imagine:

“The most important factor of all is character, which involves integrity, unselfish and devoted purpose, a sturdiness of bearing when everything goes wrong and all are critical, and a willingness to sacrifice self in the interest of the common good.”

Just started reading "How Fascism Works: The Politics of US and Them" by Jason Stanley. The preface to the paperback edition includes a discussion of (former) President Bolsonaro in Brazil. Does this particular passage remind you of anyone?

Biden’s stock market is Trump's, but Trump's stocket market is Biden's. Got it? Yet another case of "heads I win, tails you lose."
