While the government shutdown is finally over, the lack of Democratic leadership from Chuck Schumer led the party to ultimately give in to GOP demands. I react to the end of the shutdown and call for new leaders on the left.

Professor Wolfers, the Pres side argued that the reason for the state of emergency was a trade imbalance. Can you explain for all that we have an imbalance because WE buy more stuff, that we have more money to spend, and other countries don’t have our wealth. correct me if I am incorrect.
