Rob Zombie’s stylized Halloween (2007) got mostly poor reviews, but not really sure what people were expecting. Drew me in as it took some creative liberties in shaping the Michael Myers origin story. Stars Malcolm McDowell & Brad Dourif. I’d watch again. #halloween #horrorsky #spookyszn #horror

Christine (1983) is on BBC America. Avoided this movie forever because: a horror movie about a car. 🙄 But broke down & watched it last year. Pleasantly surprised with how seriously they treated the story - so well in fact, it made a believer out of me. Good flick. #horrorsky #halloween #80s #horror

Growing up knowing from a young age that country women are regarded as slow, dull doormats, Flo was inspiration that we can be strong, sassy, quick-witted, and self-directed no matter our station. RIP.
