Wonderful message from Dr. Holden Thorp (EIC @science.org ) about @elisabethbik.bsky.social identifying fabricated data, sometimes in Science papers, & "trusted colleague" in the scientific publishing process. Deeply important for public trust to run towards, not away from, corrections.

The point of all this IS THE CHAOS. Some of it is illegal, but they're counting on you to be too scared, or the federal workforce too decimated, to examine it. Nobody can do it all. Pick 2-3 issues you care deeply about & learn about, fight for, those. More in the following screenshot (credited).
