Good morning, Womble! I am reading a folk horror called THIRST by Darren Simpson and it is so good. It feels very Midsommar by way of Don’t Let The Forest In.

I’m catching up on journaling today & I am so in love with this medieval washi tape set.

Good morning, Womble. I am reading - I’m shocked too - SWORD OF KAIGEN by ML Wang and bloody hell. The world building is so good? I hate it. 😂😂

Hello, lovely Womble! I’m a little late today. But I picked up this beauty yesterday at the bookshop: THE WOLF AGE by Tore Skeie. I won’t start it immediately but it’s on the tbr pile. Have a splendid week!

Good morning, Womble! I’m listening to Babylonia whilst crafting. But I’m also reading in physical form THE BETRAYAL OF THOMAS TRUE and it’s so good!

Our delivery of the 40th anniversary edition of LEGEND by David Gemmell turned up yesterday. And it is just gorgeous. Look at it.

Hello friends!! Fountain pen p0wrn. You’re welcome! 🥰 Just look at that iridescent nib! So very sexy.

Hello! Long time no chat. I’ve finished PAGANS earlier this week which was RIDICULOUSLY good & highly recommended. Today I’ve started SUCH QUIET GIRLS which I’m very much enjoying.

My husband suggested photos too. I like that idea but no printer at home. I do have label die so I cut a load of small labels and noted pen version, colour & nib size & on the back the colour ink.

Here I’ve tagged the fountain pens that have ink in them already. This is only my TWSBI collection I’m sorting out. Now I have the other TWSBI I cleaned yesterday to load up with inks.

I’m crying? This is such a superb story. My biker boy (I yeeted a very conservative highly religious negative controlling narcissist from my life before I met him) introduced me to D&D. We got married & have been together circa 28 years. Still gaming & being nerdy together. My current character.

Went to Florence. Saw some stuff.

Good morning, Womble! I’m working at the bookshop today, but I had to share what I’m reading (one of them anyway) currently. It’s Fall of Civilization by Paul Cooper. It is fascinating!

Hopefully these will turn into that.

I’m late today as I’m working but I had to give a shout to what I’m reading: THE IRRESISTIBLE URGE TO FALL FOR YOUR ENEMY by Brigitte Knightley. I’ve started it and it is so tongue in cheek funny. I love it. Out in July!

That’s lush!! I recently got the new TWSBI Espresso with bronze detailing in EF and loaded it with Unknown Land in from Dominant Industry and it’s just 🫠 And again it’s perfect for a new historical quest fantasy idea.

I’ll also be reading THE HUNT FOR THE GOLDEN SCARAB by MG Leonard @mglnrd.bsky.socia later this week. I just had to pose some of my Egyptian goodies alongside the book for dramatic effect.

Good morning, lovely Womble! I bought & am reading THE LAST DRAGON ON MARS by Scott Reintgen. It’s a sci fi fantasy for younger readers and it’s so damn good. I think adult readers will love it too.

Hello lovely Womble. I read, nay, *devoured* DON’T LET THE FOREST IN by C. G. Drews and it is hands down one of the best & darkest YA horrors I’ve read in ages. On par with The Witch (movie) & Daughters unto Devils (book) by Amy Lukavics.
