Really interesting - thanks for sharing. If I understand correctly the homing pigeons had been trained and raced*? If so, is there any data on innate differences (ie in ‘unraced’ pigeons?)

*apologies for any naive misunderstandings or other errors - I work on humans, not birds 😀
