Governor Hochul just signed S1804/A128A into law, making #NY the first state in the nation to eliminate cost-sharing for inhalers. We want to thank the Governor and the bill sponsors, Senator Rivera and Assemblymember González-Rojas, for their tremendous work in passing this bill.

Just finished listening to “The Lincoln Highway” by Amor Towles. I had listened/read “Ordinary Grace” by William Kent Krueger only a month ago. Really struck by the similarities between the books. Wondering about this impulse towards a 20 th century Huck Finn/Odyssey narrative.

It's hard, but we can do it. Hold on to #JOY & the Positive.

Trying to "align" the Smithsonian w/DJT's preferences is part of an attack on knowledge

Universities
The Park Service
The Nat'l Endowment for the Humanities
PBS & CPB
& more.

Why the attack?
Knowledge is power
It empowers people

And empowerment & independent thought are NOT authoritarian friendly

Schedule F (politicization) is bad and the rule (protecting nonpartisan civil servants) is good
