This. I have got to find a way through my rage and to empathy for this.

If like me you're cishet or able-bodied or white or American-born or have a uterus no one cares about anymore, this right here is our work.

Frump’s successor??? these people have been in a cult, following the rantings of a madman, a brilliant orator and a madman. i’m not sure what the phases are of surfacing from a cult, but my guess is there will be shock and rage, a ton of blame shifting and “yeah but…ing” and then the grief, maybe shame? i dunno. and i am not calling on people to embrace their inner Buddha…okay, maybe i am. but come up w/ some standard lines…“i’m so sorry…didn’t see this coming.” or just say nothing and keep cracking open another beer. we have to CATCH THEM if we are ever going to surface from this, if Frump is ever going to lose his power. he has to FAIL HIS FOLLOWERS for them to wake up from the trance, and when they do we have to be there else the wound festers and grows. we will all suffer along the way…but i believe it is the only way through this. these are very difficult days. <3"

BREAKING NEWS Various sources from the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA) have confirmed and the Los Angeles Times leaked a memo stating that on February 23, 2025, ICE will start their "knock and talk" practices in the greater Los Angeles area. IMPORTANT REMINDERS: 1. These "knock and talk" practices are UNCONSTITUTIONAL (Kidd v. Mayorkas, 2024). 2. Do NOT open the door unless they have a judicial warrant signed by a judge. The name MUST be spelled correctly. 3. If they try to use violent or aggressive tactics and you're a mixed status family, make a plan as to who will respond. 4. If you are documented or an ally and see ICE agents in private areas such as driveways, backyards, the sides of a house, or inside an apartment building, they CANNOT be there without a warrant. Try to stop them in a safe manner. Document the encounter and ask them what they are doing. A tweet from the ADL that reads, "This is a delicate moment. It's a new day and yet so many are on edge. Our politics are inflamed, and social media only adds to the anxiety. It seems that elon musk made an awkward gesture in a moment of enthusiasm, not a Nazi salute, but again, we appreciate that people are on edge. In this moment, all sides should give one another a bit of grace, perhaps even the benefit of the doubt, and take a breath. This is a new beginning. Let's hope for healing and work toward unity in the months and years ahead.
