Yes, lower scores would lower your overall average, making you less visible on their 'top list.' On the other hand, it behooves you to get another 8 for the Recommended badge and to appear in their marketing pushes more than once.

Heh. Yeah, it is pricey. It's worth noting, tho, that an 8+ score triggers 2 free evaluations, so if you're getting high scores, it's much cheaper to use the service.

Yep, you have to pay the monthly hosting fee if you want your script to be available to download. They stop charging you if you get 5 scores of 8+.
