AND the brilliant work and collaboration of our partners @ppvotes!ct, all of our leg champions, and the providers who have fought to ensure that young patients they have and continue to serve can access the care they need and deserve. On to the Senate!

It is up to all of us to ensure that we provide family planning providers with a collective and bold response that is rooted in support, investment, and solidarity.

It’s classism. It’s racism. It's dangerous. And it’s an intentional effort to make health care harder to access for those already pushed to the margins. @ppsne and CT’s safety-net providers are pillars of what true community health care looks like, and we proudly stand with them.

Let’s be clear: Regardless of what Trump or Musk claims to be the reason behind the admin’s withholding of #TitleX funding, the weaponization of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts is a deliberate attack. Not just on Planned Parenthood , but on the very communities Title X was created to serve.

The majority of those impacted by current withholding or future funding cuts are the very communities who already disproportionately face structural barriers to care- folks with lower incomes, people of color,  undocumented individuals, members of the LGBTQ+ community & people without insurance.

The decision to withhold #TitleX funding puts access to essential health care services at grave risk– including the services of which I have, and continue to utilize myself.

I am just one of over 40,000 Connecticut residents who rely on PPSNE for essential routine, preventative, and primary health care services, such as cancer screenings, birth control, STI screenings, and more.
