The whitehouse dot gov website has been replaced with war movie-style propaganda complete with a short video with Hunger Games vibe-y music.
This is all so absurd it boggles the mind, but also gives me a reeeeally bad feeling.

Today, I'm acutely aware of the pain my trans and nonbinary friends are in, so it seems like a good time to share this love letter AGAIN. I've shared it at least every LGBTQ+ History Month since it was published. Reading it anchors me.

Just saw the term “apocaloptimist” and felt the need to share.
Is the world falling apart? Yeah.
Is everything gonna get harder for at least a bit? Yeah?
Will we still create beauty, hope, love, connection IN SPITE of that to defy the darkness? Yeah.

I got notifications this morning that my page could no longer be recommended.
Why?! Because FB automatically flagged my profile pic and cover photo as UNSAFE. Literally, they have a "sensitive content" warning over my pics.
