This year at WAMED (WA Middle Eastern Dance Festival, on the 1st June long weekend) I'm teaching a crafty workshop about beading your own appliques to add to your costumes. There's also a plethora of other amazing dancy-dancy workshops and fabulous shows. Tickets available at www.wamedfestival.com

The best 9 books I read in 2024. Thank you for making them exist, writers.

I ended up finishing 60 books last year. Most were fantasy and mystery with a smattering of biographies and some YA romance to keep up with the kids. (crossposted)
