“Dude, bro(ther), man,” “grow some balls/a pair,” “wearing the pants,” “manpower,” “she’s one of the guys,” etc. So many of the colloquial phrases quietly perpetuate masculine dominance/patriarchy.

These words, argued by some as “neutral” now, have a gendered etymology.

Unpopular opinion: liberals cannot be against the rise of fascist *gov* and still want the *gov* ban guns. If the former comes to pass in full force, we’ll need them if/when conflict comes to pass. Don’t advocate for the state to have a monopoly on violence. That’s how the oppress us all.
