After a rigorous 6-month inquiry, the Planning Inspectorate independently has concluded the sewage plant relocation is not justified. Their careful, evidence-based recommendation: refuse consent.
The Secretary of State, Steve Reed, does not agree.

Is this too late to reverse the Govt decision to move one of the few effective sewage plants run by Anglian Water to high quality green belt near Cambridge? Its only purpose, to clear brownfield for water-thirsty labs and AI on the pretext of housing. @mikescialom.bsky.social @lizcotton.bsky.social
