There was a This American Life episode about Testosterone. I remember a trans male said that before he transitioned, he'd see someone he was attracted to and have elaborate fantasies about meeting them and falling in love. Once he was on high levels of T, his fantasies were purely pornographic.

This is fascinating to me. I suggested my husband read Tana French’s In the Woods and he said the male narrator didn’t read as male to him. I can spot it quite easily in romance novels but this one worked for me.

What a great role model for your kids you are. I watched my mom work her whole life but always make far less than my father. When he left her for another woman he did everything he could to cheat her out of a fair deal. I vowed I would never not work and to always have my own money.

It’s all about the music for me. Walking or running with music I love feels transcendent sometimes.

My friend works for them. They are really committed to doing good work under terrible conditions. Just my 2-cents, but I don't think they should be punished because they're trying to navigate a system that is actively harming them and their mission.

When I see famous people hocking gambling apps I feel so much rage. They don’t have enough money? Even if they didn’t, have they no morals? I guess any attention is good to these people.

It makes me so mad. And the constant tinkering with the UI is so frustrating. But they gotta justify that increased subscription price somehow, I guess.

Unfortunately, I subscribe to the Adobe cloud because I’m a freelance graphic designer and need their programs, which I have used for over 20 years. Just got an email from them that they’re upping the price and “enhancing” the features. No opt out option. I feel like this needs to be regulated.
