Overall though, while this season wasn't my favorite overall, it did have its moments and I enjoyed watching it with my friends. I'm excited to see what they do with the movie (if they are making one) and I'm even more excited to see where the franchise goes from here. Toodles! #moominvalleyspoilers

As much as I wanted and would've loved canon Snufmin, I would've been fine with the writers at least keeping a similar level of subtext as they had previously. Instead it kinda felt like the show was keeping Snufkin away as much as possible so they wouldn't have to do it #moominvalleyspoilers

While I did enjoy watching many of the episodes this season, it still felt like something was off that kinda brought the experience down a bit. Also it would've been nice if they at the very least kept the same amount of Snufmin subtext that was in the previous seasons #moominvalleyspoilers

Although I will say!! Episode 10 was a really nice surprise. It gave me flashbacks to the Red Moon episode of 70s Moomin, and even if it wasn't intentional, it was nice to get at least a semblance of a reference to that series in a newer adaptation. #moominvalleyspoilers

Episode 6 of the new season is probably my least favorite episode of the whole series, and honestly I dunno if it's cause there was a new head writer this season or what, but the whole season just felt off in a lot of ways. #moominvalleyspoilers

Some of the characters felt like they had traveled backwards with their character development, both with relationships and overall arcs, which felt really weird. Joxter was great, but them building up a meeting between him and Snufkin and never doing it was just disappointing. #moominvalleyspoilers
