Yes but how many people are going to see that they need to invest in index funds rather than propping up the pay of mediocre fund managers who overcharge relative to results? Let's be honest about who's been calling for this, and it's not the former.

Have volunteered in several inner city schools with large libraries but the students don't use them. There are many wonderful books (eg yours) but reading needs to be seen as important for kids and adults as exercise and a good diet. www.theatlantic.com/magazine/arc...

Hi Michael, how can UK unis afford to attract many, if any, US scientists given that they still have a giant hole in research funding post-Brexit? Have they found new sources of funding for this? I ask because uni budgets are already so stretched.

Of course they wanted to negotiate concessions, UK post Brexit is just not as attractive as an investment proposition. Logistics of managing supply chains and hiring post Brexit, esp in life sciences, are now incredibly complicated. Much easier to set up in the EU.

Right now there are parents forcing their children to play pieces far beyond their physical ability eg. 10 year olds playing Grade 8 ABRSM (UK music qualification) pieces though their small hands can't stretch enough. These are the people who'd want to buy this robot. That's not ok.
