This is Oscar, who passed away in 2022 at 18 years old. He loved knocking things off shelves and trying to eat strings, and he took a big piece of my heart with him when he left.

Reading with the cats again (a very good stress-relieving activity, if you need one). Yesterday, A Mouthful of Dust by Nghi Vo, and today, All of Us Murderers by KJ Charles. Good spooky vibes for the weekend.

My cat woke up immediately when I played this, lol. He was sound asleep but as soon as the purring started, I saw his ears shoot up.

We got this delightful package in the mail at my library today. Timeless!
Padded envelope with a note that says "Sorry, found this in my library. I checked it out in 1972 and neglected to return it. It is timeless so it still has value. Sincerely, John."
