This is fabulous, albeit it seems like a slightly flaky website, at least on an iPad.

Orkney is just the most fabulous place. Touching those stones and thinking about what they’ve witnessed…. went last year and definitely making a return visit.

I’m not sure I could have read ‘Ducks, Newburyport’ but I was utterly engrossed listening to it. Same with ‘Grief is the thing with Feathers’ (if that’s the right title!).

That’s interesting. Could the same text, skilfully narrated by different people create two different impressions of the same book?

I’m enjoying listening to Donald Robertson’s ‘Marcus Aurelius, the Stoic Emperor’. Great story and he’s got a very soothing voice!

That always bugs me about The Guardian, too, although not on a par with how the poor writers must feel. But unusually they’ve now added in that it’s on Apple TV.
