in spending. It just takes a little time.

Even managers like Kendall and Ferguson that you mentioned earlier had people calling for their heads prior to their success.

The point stands. Although I don’t agree we have no money to spend. As the squad still needs key areas addressing. It just can’t all be done at once for PSR reasons.

No manager can revolutionise a club from the position we’ve been in. Once our revenue is documented we can see the increase

There isn’t a manager in world football that will transform Everton football club in one summer.

Moyes isn’t perfect but if you think throwing players in at the deep end just because they cost a few quid is good management then you’re part of that problem. Players need to be managed and if that means they are used sparingly then so be it.

This is a primary reason why our fanbase is half the problem with the team. Much of the money spent in the summer was on talent that isn’t the finished article. We have been told that from the word go. It’s not a quick fix and some of that money is to help us beyond this season.

And to think, somebody got paid a small fortune for that 😂

Forest massively over achieved last year and look at them now. They also massively spent. Something that will no doubt come back to haunt them through PSR if they don’t get relegated that is. I know what I’d rather have. That doesn’t mean we can’t get even better for the remaining 75% of the season.

which is still a work in progress, against more successful squads because it’s not a fair comparison and doesn’t show any progress. Am I happy we’re better than we have been? Certainly. Do I want us to get even better? Absolutely! The two can coexist and it be ok.

I think you’re missing my point a little. I don’t think that our current standard is good enough but when you’re down going up is always good even in small steps.

The prior shite isn’t a ‘standard’ it’s a benchmark without acknowledging it we can’t judge progress. No point in comparing this squad

It shows improvement at least.

It most definitely is.

No but even Gazza couldn’t connect to one occasionally. The one against city was probably an inch too far to be fair to the lad.
