My Riverina Prickly Pear - #Opuntia.Elata.
Online sites say it can get 2 meters high....LIES I SAY. Segments on this break off really easy, especially when young. Pretty orange-ish flower, tiny fruit. #succulents #cactiDude #sucsInLA

Aloe ‘Crosby’s Prolific’ --- Aloe nobilis x Aloe humilis var. echinatum Hybrid... I think, let me know if ya disagree. Got this in January 2021 at a swap meet in SCV. I have not had much luck propagating on the ground. Does well in pots with partial shade. #succulents #cactiDude #sucsInLA #aloe

Great starter cactus. The fruit is delicious. Just stick it in the ground and water it once in a blue moon. Tis the season to plant. Growth takes off on 2nd year. Mine started from a single pad🌵.

AKA wavy-leaf prickly pear. Edge of the pads are wavy.
Got this one last year, 2 pads. It does not seem to be doing to well in full Sun. Part of me thinks it might be the native soil in my area.

Got this one last year, 2 pads. It does not seem to be doing to well in full Sun. Part of me thinks it might be the native soil in my area.

🌵Chaparral #Yucca in #SantaClarita (home). AKA: Lord's Candle. These are common in my area. I have 3 growing on my yard. They die after it flowers, but takes decades to flower. This yucca and the yucca moth🦋 have an exclusive relationship.
