A bit late but this is my lunar eclipse photo from the 9ther night! Took me about 30 minutes to hold my phone steady enough to capture this through my backpack travel 'scope. The kiddo enjoyed getting up at 2:30 am for the view too!

I am so happy with how this turned out!! My spouse and I wanted something that would bring an atmosphere of tranquility to our bedroom in our new house, and I think I did a good job accomplishing that!

Today I gave talk #6 of 8 on my Southwest Florida trip! The last two (at public libraries) are tomorrow, then it is home Sunday before taking a looooooong nap 😴

I had a FANTASTIC visit to Gannon University yesterday! I learned a lot about microbiology and collecting data during a total eclipse before sharing astrochemistry with with the American Chemical Society Erie Section. On my way home then leaving for Florida on Sunday for a week of talks 🌌

I've been working on saying no to things, so naturally I volunteered to be a floor warden for my building at NASA GSFC. (I mean, how could I say no to wearing a hard hat??)
