Using both Drosophila & mammalian embryonic stem cells (ESCs), Pranab has been uncovering the hidden rules of cell competition.

Now, he’s combining these experiences to explore how Dpp (BMP) signalling might drive tumour growth, with the bigger aim of understanding cancer at its roots.
