Someone’s tired after 24hrs of showing his disdain for a new dog sitter. Lots of potty in the house, hiding in the drapes and growling at said dog sitter, then waking us up at 4:20am to pee under the bed.

I have no idea why this book was reviewed so highly. Her use of police brutality as a plot device was lazy, and manipulative. It’s rare I wish I hadn’t read a book when I’m finished.

This is my first Saturday in over a month that I’m not sitting in an ICU, caregiving, working ridiculous hours, or at urgent care checking to see if my hand is broken. Don’t want to jinx myself but…
