I've been feeding birds for awhile now right off my deck and the chickadees started flying by the window and glass door and staring pointedly at me when their seed out and now recently an Oregon Junco has started hopping in front of the patio door. 😂👏 Birds are so smart!

It's too big for that. I think they just turned it up out of the soil and were curious because of the color contrast. Their whole pasture is riddled with holes where they have dug with their beaks. 👏🏼😅

True, we've proven crows leave gifts for people who feed them. Maybe my ducks are happy because I gave them a bigger and better indoor/outdoor area to use.

I found it out in the middle of the concrete sidewalk I always walk on. Probably a coincidence they put it there but I have learned to never underestimate the intelligence of animals.

Just an interesting rock. They probably noticed it and carried it around because of it's color contrast. They are very curious and notice every little thing that is different.
