Classic dynamic pixel art from Mark Ferrari, available on iOS and Android. https://pixfabrik.com/livingworlds/
There's a whole mobile app full of it! pixfabrik.com/livingworlds/

The audio in the app is procedurally mixed on a 24 hour cycle, so it feels alive and matches the weather changes in the scene.
Living Worlds - Art by Mark Ferrari
This new Living Worlds app is a modern recreation of a set of dynamic pixel art scenes first published in the early 90s...

I see. Makes sense! I added it to the list, though I'm not actively working on the project at the moment, so no promises for when it'll be implemented. Thank you for the feedback!

Oh, I see! Interesting… when I try it on my Android device the wallpaper and the app both act the same: they don't attempt to rotate to compensate for the device rotation. I wonder if my settings are different somehow? If I rotate the device while Chrome is up, the webpage does rotate to compensate.

What do you mean by display rotation? Like automatically going between different scenes?

We actually just did a new Android release with the latest SDKs! The iOS version is up-to-date as well. Thank you for spreading the word ❤️

Exactly right! This piece is from Mark Ferrari in 1993, just a few years after he worked on the Lucasfilm adventure games Loom and The Secret of Monkey Island. 😊
