My Five Minutes in Nature project is about slowing down so you can appreciate the little things. It turns out, there's a lot to see in just 90 seconds. blog.livingwilderness.com/2025/05/gett...

The Seattle area got its first snowfall of the winter this week. There's something peaceful about watching large snowflakes delicately drop to the ground, falling like feathers. #naturephotography #winter #snow

Long nights aren't all bad! My work is about connecting with the natural world and there's something special about night. It's quiet, but also unfamiliar. I share some thoughts in my latest blog post: blog.livingwilderness.com/2024/12/find... #night #photography #nature #5MinutesInNature

I feel closest to nature when I venture out without a plan. When I go out to see what nature reveals to me, not to struggle to see what somebody else told me I should see. I was enchanted by the soft morning light on this river in #Extremadura, #Spain. #naturephotography #nature #tranquility

The artists I admire most are people who believe there’s more than emptiness behind an animal’s eyes. I believe they may have souls. Once you open your mind to that possibility, it opens your world to seeing how they truly live and having empathy for them. #wildlife #gorilla #photography

Some light to help us through the darkness. I captured this last month in the North Cascades of Washington state. #nature #photography #naturephotography
