We’re using “Trump Supporter” here as shorthand for LGBTQ Hating, Anti-Choice, Immigrant hating troll.
Sarah Longwell did dozens of Focus groups with true swing voters and that’s just not right. Most didn’t talk about the culture war things at all. It was fear about the economy and the border.

What’s the point of making the FU money Joe and Mika have made if you’re not willing to use that freedom to do the right thing?
When I think about Joe & Mika appeasing Trump so they can maintain their comfy lives, I think about Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss enduring years of harassment for simply doing their jobs.
So when Joe defends it by saying people need to live in the real world, he should respectfully go screw himself.

I remember that the clear tapes felt badass and the opaque ones somehow seemed industrial and not cool.
#Maxell How many people out there remember the joys of trying to create a mix tape on cassettes or trying to record music directly from the radio to catch your favorite songs? Primitive by today's standards it still gives me a feeling of nostalgia looking at them. #cassettes #audio

I’m genuinely curious about why it took the election results for millions of people to leave X?
Did the content or moderation policies suddenly become worse or did people suddenly realize they were on Truth Social 2.0?

Yes. This. Each time I post about the hypocrisy I'm getting these kinds of cynical responses, and really, stop it. I get that everyone copes in their own way, but don't pre-give in. Fight for your actual rights. Call out the hypocrisy. Not to convince them, but to remind everyone else.

This “echo-chamber” thing hilarious. People aren’t getting blocked here as much due to politics as for just being assholes (BFE: Bad Faith Engagement: ‘splaining, “well AkShUally-ing”, “so-you-hate-wafflesing”). That’s not an echo-chamber. That’s a healthy discursive space for inquiry & connection
