I work as an independent insurance producer (personal lines). I’m just as shocked as the rest of you by the increased costs. Believe me, it’s made my job incredibly difficult! And no, I don’t get better rates than anyone else.

I just coughed up for one day tickets for the Zootown Festival because… well, they convinced the Chicks to come. I saw them on their 10 year reunion tour several years ago. They were amazing! Couldn’t pass it up. Tedeschi Trucks are also playing. I won’t be eating for a while. Hope it’s worth it.

What's happened in Missoula over the past 20 years is shameful. Engen sold Missoula out years ago. Unfortunately, the same thing is happening all over the country. It's corporate greed. Most of these developments are controlled by wealthy out-of-staters as well as people from other countries.
