It's what happens when a person lacks assertive communication. They're attempting to communicate a point they can't outright say. It's usually not a conscious decision (I've learned from my convos). It comes from a place of regressed/underdeveloped emotional awareness.

Been working on a 3-issue mini series with my best friend. The story is written, issue one scripted, and thumbnails are finished for 1/3 of issue one. Thr barriers: character designs haven't been finalized and it's rough to give feedback about characters that mean so much to us (1/2).
