MS Windows used to have a recovery command called “last known good”. If a bad driver install wouldn’t allow your PC to boot, pressing [F8] would reload the last stable configuration so you could troubleshoot the issues. I wish America had a “last known good” feature. I fear only the BSOD awaits us.
