I totally agree with you. I stopped following her a long time ago as everything was negative and bashing. Same with the CBC so called reporter. Her idol must be Rosemary as it is always negative questions With both of them. My five cents.

As a holder of Costco shares, I appreciate them,including paying their staff fantastic wages,provincial and federal taxes (Yes, in Canada we do invest in other countries, especially for a great company like Costco), and pay to be a member. if others just want the $1.50 hotdog then get a membership.

As fire evacuees in remote area, having an alert system would be better then what we got. phone call saying you have one hour also let your neighbours know! “We don’t have the staff to drive to advise everyone”.they knew to call us but what would have happened if we were not home? 36 days gone

Also, sugar cane is grown in tropical countries like Belize. That I know for a fact as my very white Canadian hubby used to work in the fields to bring in extra $ for his family who were missionaries.

Sugar beets are grown in Canada. Southern Alberta to be exact with Tabor processing plant. Rogers sugar Only uses beets grown in Alberta.

When we lived in Winnipeg, De Nardis was one of the places I would go to get Italian groceries. WELL, bye bye! Not going to put one foot in that place ever again.

I live full time in nature but sometimes it is too quiet! Such as last night at midnight the hydro went out. The lack of sounds woke me up! Then had a hard time falling back to sleep as all I could hear was the wind and my body making gurgling noises!

I didn’t know that they charged. All they asked was for my health card to check my past history And to confirm I had health care. Even if they do charge, sometimes it is faster then waiting in a clinic IF it is busy.
