Except when I look online & I get a word that is kinda like the word, but isn't the word, I don't think, & I then I doubt what I was thinking is a word, so I give up & use another...

Then I remember JUST now it's "auspicious." (I was spelling it "ob..." & I got "ostentatious" when I searched). 🤣🤣

Then I am going to try the first "Earthsea" book by Ursula K. Le Guin. I keep hearing such great things!

I am doing my yearly re-read of my fav series: the Tenebrea trilogy by Roxann Dawson and Daniel Graham. Just started book 2.

I write like I am just there watching what is happening, so I am just recording. I didn't DO it. And I have much sadness when they are suffering. Heaven forbid someone has to die for the plot. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

Oddly, despite that challenge - I am pretty good at action.

I come from a film background so I am good with dialogue, but not good with all the novel..."filler" (for lack of a better word) around the dialogue. I have to frequently remind myself to include it. 😆

I struggle with descriptions because...well, my brain doesn't do that thing where you can visual, so it can be VERY hard to do a think I skip in other books since it's meaningless to me. 🤣
