on expanding the world of the characters i have added a mall into the mix,

i have been wracking my brain with what the world of the characters would be like. i'm trying to keep it minimal, almost with an empitness to it. this is the beginnings of a lit road, but the road hasn't been built yet.

drawing of abby, she's a cheerleader yet she's often surly, sarcastic and apathetic, usually because of stella's more optimistic outlook. However she can show a caring side, usually towards lance. She's tricky to draw, never seemed to satisfied with the chin or nose.

I have cleaning up this image but I remembered that I wanted the school to have a "tired" or "neglected" feel to it, or a better way of putting it is to look "lived in"
So I have only been fixing the line work to a certain extent.

I've always thought that my work looked stiff so I have done some doodles, warts and all, just to loosen up a bit. These are sketches of Stella.

This is lance, he's a freshman (nearly 15) and he's the only boy in the group. With this, he has become withdrawn from the others and rarely talks to them. He draws superheroes and robots, he wishes to be an artist. Due to the groups being isolated, he fears he will run out of paper to draw on.
