It was high energy when it happened. Like you say it took a while to get right, but was effective, if draining. There just seems to be very little energy in our play. Particularly in the press.

It's like a half press, always half a yard off the opponent. So ineffective.

As well as the Isak saga and his lack of pre-season and bonding, it is really not surprise there is a lack of cohesion. And it's a manager's worse nightmare to have to balance all of these things. To then have the media treat this like it is a normal season for us because we won a few games...

The thing is, we didn't have a normal pre-season at all. The new players have arrived into an environment where the whole club is mourning one of their own. On an emotional level, a player assimilation level it's a nightmare. Throw in there just the number of changes...

True. I feel the same. Everyone wants to just move on and play football and win, but that's not how grief works. Even when we were winning games it still felt off.
